we dont.
the us life expectancy has fallen 3 years in a row.
the last time it did that was 1915-1918 because of wwi and the spanish flu.
now it because of suicide and drug ODs because we’re self-medicating.
or, to put it another way, stress is killing us so hard that it’s having an effect that was last seen from a combination of The War To End All Wars and the deadliest plague in human history.
